About the Performer
Roy Wood Jr. is one of the most versatile and celebrated comedians working today. An Emmy-nominated comedian, documentary producer, WGA-nominated writer, actor, and radio personality, Wood Jr. is best known for his eight years as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy-winning The Daily Show (2015–2023).
In 2023, he guest hosted The Daily Show and headlined the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to its highest ratings since 2017. His fourth stand-up special, Lonely Flowers, premiered on Hulu on January 17, 2025, earning widespread critical acclaim.
