Dallas had its first 95-degree day in March. March. The second day of spring felt more like the middle of July, and meteorologists are already warning that summer 2026 is shaping up to be another scorcher. The Cowboys went 7-9-1 and are entering a new season with a starting quarterback situation they’re extremely confident about and have definitely resolved. The NFL schedule was just announced.
None of that has anything to do with comedy, except that when the heat arrives early and the team is not delivering, air-conditioned rooms full of funny people become a legitimate quality-of-life concern in DFW. And the Dallas comedy calendar for 2026 is genuinely worth paying attention to.
Punch Line Irving Is Running the Show
Punch Line Irving at Las Colinas has become the go-to room for mid-size touring comedy in the Metroplex. Located at 310 W Las Colinas Blvd in Irving, it’s well-booked, well-run, and stacked with names through fall 2026. If you’re driving in from anywhere in DFW, keep this venue on your radar.
May Opens Strong
Naomi Watanabe, Japan’s most famous comedian and the first Japanese stand-up to sell out arenas in North America, kicks things off at House of Blues Dallas on May 15 with her From Tokyo tour. Same night, Chaunte Wayans (yes, that Wayans family) brings Selective Sin Comedy Tour to Punch Line Irving on May 15. Two different options for your Friday night. Both worth it.
On May 17, Bobby Lee brings The Finally Tour 2026 to the Majestic Theatre Dallas. Get tickets here. The Majestic is one of the more beautiful rooms in downtown Dallas, and Bobby Lee in an ornate room like that is a funny visual before he even opens his mouth.
Summer: Ron Funches and the Irving Weekenders
Ron Funches does four shows at Punch Line Irving across a single June weekend. Wednesday June 25 through Saturday June 27, with early and late shows on Friday and Saturday. Funches is one of the most reliably funny performers in stand-up right now. The kind of comic where people who don’t follow comedy closely will still immediately get it. He’s doing four shows here because demand is real.
Dulce Sloan, writer and correspondent from The Daily Show and one of the fastest-rising stand-ups in the country, plays Punch Line Irving on July 9. If you’ve watched her on television and wondered what she’s like in a club-sized room with no commercial breaks and no editing, here’s your chance.
For something different: Bruce Bruce, the Atlanta-bred comedian who has been one of the biggest names in urban comedy for decades, plays Addison Improv on July 24, Tickets are available now.
Fall Brings the Heavy Hitters
Joanne McNally, the Irish comedian whose wine-themed tour Pinotphile became one of the biggest touring comedy acts in the English-speaking world, comes to Punch Line Irving on October 25 (from current pricing). She’s enormous in the UK and Ireland and is currently in the process of doing the same thing in North America, so catching her in a room this size is something you’ll mention later.
Closing out fall, Daniel Sloss brings BITTER to the Majestic Theatre Dallas on October 28 (from current pricing). Sloss has been the most dangerous stand-up for relationships in the world for five years running, and BITTER is being called his most personal show yet.
Dallas, Your Summer Has Air Conditioning
The heat is not going anywhere. The Cowboys schedule is what it is. But the comedy lineup is something Dallas can actually be happy about. Find every show and lock in your seats at ComedyCalendar.com.
