About Russell Peters

is one of the most celebrated stand-up comedians in the world, recently named by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 Best Comics of All Time.

The Toronto-born comedian started doing stand-up at age 19 and spent 15 years honing his craft before his 2004 CTV special launched him to global stardom. He became the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and went on to break attendance records at Madison Square Garden, the Sydney Opera House, and London’s O2 Arena.

In 2013, Peters became the first comedian to create a Netflix Original Comedy Special. His Relax* World Tour (*It’s not that serious.) brings his signature observational humor and crowd work to stages across North America.
