About Russell Peters

Russell Peters was recently named as one of Rolling Stone's 50 Best Comics of All Time. The Canadian stand-up comedian and actor started performing at open mics in his native Toronto at age nineteen and spent the next fifteen years honing his craft at clubs across Canada and the UK.

In 2004, Peters gained critical and global recognition for his CTV “Comedy Now!” special and became the first comedian to sell out Toronto's Air Canada Centre in 2007. He went on to set attendance records at venues from Madison Square Garden to The Sydney Opera House to London's O2 Arena — where he broke the UK attendance record for highest number of tickets sold for an individual comedy show.

Peters became the first comedian to create a Netflix Original Comedy Special in 2013. His most recent tour, The Deported World Tour, was seen by over 400,000 fans in 40 cities across 20 countries and culminated in the stand-up special Russell Peters Deported on Amazon Prime. He has been awarded Gemini, Peabody, Emmy, and Canadian Screen Awards for his hosting, producing, and acting talents.

Milwaukee Improv is located at 20110 Lower Union Street in Brookfield, Wisconsin — just west of Milwaukee in the Brookfield Square area. As part of the nationally recognized Improv comedy club chain, Milwaukee Improv is one of the premier stand-up comedy destinations in the greater Milwaukee area.

The Main Room features a classic comedy club layout with general admission seating, premium VIP sections, and private booths. The intimate atmosphere puts you close to the action, and the club offers full cocktail service throughout the show. There is a mandatory two-item minimum purchase per person in the showroom.

Seating is general admission and first-come, first-served (with the exception of groups and premium booths). Guests are allowed into the showroom up until 30 minutes after the show begins. Parking is available in the Brookfield Square shopping center lot. No cell phone use, photography, or video recording is permitted during performances.
