About the Show

An Idiot's Guide to Wine is a live adult stand-up comedy show that pairs genuine wine education with big laughs. Performed by a local comedian using material written by Merrick Watts — the world's only WSET Level 3 comedian — the 70-minute set takes audiences on a hilarious journey through five wine varietals from around the world. This is a proper stand-up show, not a dry wine lecture.

Produced by Fever and developed by Grapes of Mirth, the show has become an Australian sensation now making its way to Washington, DC. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or a total beginner, you'll giggle and gulp your way through the night.
