Tony Rock is a Brooklyn-born stand-up comedian, actor, and producer who has established himself as one of the hardest-working entertainers in show business. Born in the same Brooklyn hospital as most of his eight brothers and sisters, Tony was born laughing — and it quickly became clear that his big brother Chris wasn't going to be the only famous comedian in the Rock family.
Tony is best known to TV audiences as Uncle Ryan on Everybody Hates Chris and Dirk Black on All of Us. He broke nationally with Comedy Central Presents: Tony Rock in 2010 and went on to host HBO's weekly stand-up showcase All Def Comedy, BET's Apollo Live and Black Card Revoked, and NBA TV's The Warm Up. His most recent special, Tony Rock: Rock The World, was released in 2024.
On the big screen, Tony has appeared in Think Like a Man and co-starred in CBS's primetime network series Living Biblically. Off stage, he is the founder of the MyROCK Diabetes Foundation, a charity established in honor of his late father. Tony Rock's quick wit, nimble crowd work, and sharp storytelling make every set feel personal and electric.
