Margaret Cho LIVE at Raleigh Improv

About Margaret Cho

Margaret Cho is a comedian, actor, musician, advocate, and entrepreneur — and one of the most iconic voices in stand-up comedy. A five-time Grammy and Emmy nominee, Cho has been a trailblazer for women, LGBTQ+ performers, and Asian-American artists for over three decades.

Vogue magazine named her one of the 9 best female comedians of all time, alongside Joan Rivers, Gilda Radner, and Wanda Sykes. Her comedy is bold, unapologetic, and deeply personal — blending sharp political commentary with hilarious storytelling about identity, relationships, and pop culture.

Her recent work includes guest appearances on HBO Max's Hacks and The Flight Attendant, two Netflix comedy specials including Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution, and a starring role in Disney's Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. Her latest film, All That We Love, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival to rave reviews.
