Kathleen Madigan: Flying Cats Tour LIVE at Hard Rock Live Orlando

About Kathleen Madigan

Kathleen Madigan is one of the most successful and beloved stand-up comedians working today. Over three decades into her career, she has built a touring empire without relying on a major TV show or movie role — just pure, relentless joke-telling that has earned her a devoted following across the country.

Coming from a long line of Midwestern union workers, Madigan approaches stand-up as a craft and a job. Her comedy is rooted in family stories, everyday absurdities, and sharp observations about the world around her. She has a gift for making complicated ideas feel effortless and offhand — like chatting with a funny friend at the end of the bar.

Madigan has released seven stand-up specials, including Hunting Bigfoot on Amazon Prime (winner of the Interrobang 2023 Comedy Special of the Year) and Bothering Jesus on Netflix, which became the highest-selling comedy album on streaming services since 2015. She has made over 40 appearances on late-night and daytime talk shows and appeared on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld.

As Jerry Seinfeld himself said: She is small, practical and fun. She makes a lot of sense but not too much sense. Just enough to be hilarious.
