About the Performer

Jourdain Fisher is a New York-based stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and content creator who was born and raised in North Carolina. He started doing stand-up comedy at the age of 17 to avoid working for his family's funeral home — and the rest is history.

Jourdain has been featured at major comedy festivals including the New York Comedy Festival (New York's Funniest), the Laughing Skull Festival, and Laugh Your Asheville Off. He is a back-to-back winner of The Ultimate Comic Challenge and a finalist in The Carolina's Funniest Competition, as well as a finalist at the NBC Stand Up Showcase.

He previously served as a writer and actor on BET's sketch comedy show 50 Central and as a writer on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Most recently, Jourdain was a panelist on CBS/Paramount+'s After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson. He has also found massive success on social media through his wildly popular character Gangsta Chef.
