About Angelo Colina
Angelo Colina is a Venezuelan comedian who moved from Colombia to the United States in 2018 and has since become one of the most exciting voices in Spanish-language stand-up comedy. He started his comedy career at Wiseguys Comedy Club in Salt Lake City, Utah, and now lives in New York, where he co-founded Español Please (featured at the New York Comedy Festival 2021) and Gente Funny — the first all-Spanish comedy showcase in Washington, D.C.
In 2023, Angelo went on his first national tour called Solito and was chosen as a headliner at the New York Comedy Festival in both 2023 and 2024. He also headlined the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles in 2024 and the 312 Comedy Festival in Chicago. Angelo currently tours all over the United States performing entirely in Spanish, bringing his unique perspective on immigration, culture, and identity to audiences everywhere.
