DC’s 2026 Comedy Lineup Is More Packed Than the Congressional Schedule (And More Likely to Deliver)

Washington DC is a city built on irony. Home prices just fell 10.6% year-over-year, the steepest drop in the country, while the rest of the nation dipped a modest 1.4%. The political press is rebranding itself (NOTUS is becoming “The Star,” which nobody requested). And through all of it, DC’s 2026 Comedy Lineup Is, genuinely and without irony, excellent.
The city has been processing its own absurdity through comedy since vaudeville played on F Street. What’s different in 2026 is the caliber of the lineup. Let’s run through it.

Josh Johnson Brings Comedy Band Camp to DAR Constitution Hall
If you follow The Daily Show, you know Josh Johnson already. He’s been one of the sharpest correspondents on television for years, and his live show has built an audience that’s outgrown most club rooms. Josh Johnson’s Comedy Band Camp lands at DAR Constitution Hall, the neoclassical hall near the White House that usually hosts classical music and national tribute events, on
