The Las Vegas residency model has moved well past legacy performers doing crowd-pleasing sets. It now draws active, critically respected comedians doing some of the more ambitious work of their careers under the desert lights. Here’s what 2026 looks like if you’re planning a trip or live local.
The Anchor: Nikki Glaser & David Spade at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
May 22-23 | The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Nikki Glaser and David Spade sharing a residency at The Colosseum, the room that has housed Celine Dion, Elton John, and Mariah Carey, is easy to undersell if you’re not paying attention. Their multi-night residency puts Glaser’s fearless, confessional style next to Spade’s dry, veteran timing, and the chemistry reportedly works better than it has any right to. May 22-23 is the second run of what began in January. Get in before everyone figures out this is one of the better pure comedy shows Vegas has had in years.
Sebastian Maniscalco at Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
May 23 | Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
Sebastian Maniscalco is having a year. Touring arenas, appearing in major films, and now bringing his live show to the Encore Theater, which is one of the better mid-size rooms on the Strip. His old-school Italian-American family storytelling travels well in a Vegas room: accessible, warm, consistently funny. Tickets are available now.
Chelsea Handler: Chelsea at the Chelsea
May 30 | The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan
Chelsea Handler performing at a room literally named The Chelsea is either a cosmically perfect booking or the result of very good planning, and honestly either explanation works. Her show at the Cosmopolitan rewards anyone who has followed her career through its multiple reinventions. This is Handler running her own room, on her own terms, at a sharp point in her career. Tickets are available now.
Jerry Seinfeld at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
June 26 | The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Jerry Seinfeld playing the same room that once held Elton John’s residency is not even a surprising sentence anymore. It’s just Las Vegas doing what Las Vegas does. Seinfeld has been doing stand-up continuously for his entire career, and his Caesars appearances are reliably excellent. This is the safest pick on this entire list, which is saying something given that this list is quite good.
Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny at Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
July 10 | Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
Jimmy Carr is the most technically precise comedian working today. His joke construction is almost architectural, and watching him perform is like watching someone who is genuinely excellent at a skill you didn’t know was a skill. Laughs Funny is the kind of self-referential title only someone deeply confident in his own craft would use. The Wynn is the right room for it.
Brian Regan at Palazzo Theatre, The Venetian Resort
July 11 | Palazzo Theatre, The Venetian
Brian Regan is regarded by many working comedians as the best pure stand-up in America, a fact that doesn’t get mentioned enough outside comedy circles. His material is clean enough that you can bring literally anyone, and brilliant enough that anyone would leave having had a good time. The Palazzo is a superb room. This show is as close to a sure thing as this list has.
Russell Peters: RELAX World Tour at Encore Theater, Wynn
August 21 | Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
Russell Peters helped define what global stand-up looks like. His early 2000s specials were among the first truly viral comedy videos, and he has been doing this at the highest level ever since. RELAX is his latest world tour, and Vegas has always been a strong room for him. Tickets are available now.
Ali Wong at Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
September 25 | Encore Theater, Wynn Las Vegas
Ali Wong’s return to live touring has been one of the most anticipated things in comedy. She is uncompromising, fearless, and structurally smart in the way that very few working comedians are. Her Vegas date in September is going to be one of the most talked-about nights of the fall.
Daniel Tosh: My First Farewell Tour at The Cosmopolitan
September 26 | The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
The tour name is doing a lot of work. My First Farewell Tour is exactly the kind of winking self-awareness that Tosh built his career on. The Cosmopolitan gets a date with him, which suggests either a farewell that isn’t final or the best-selling farewell since KISS’s third one. Either way, this will sell out.
The Comedy Cellar at Rio, Carrot Top at Luxor, and the Club Circuit
Year-round | Various Strip venues
Las Vegas also has the most consistent comedy club infrastructure outside New York. The Comedy Cellar at Rio Las Vegas brings the famous Greenwich Village institution’s format to the desert: rotating lineups, an intimate room, genuine downtown energy.
The Short Version
Las Vegas is the only city in America where you could, in theory, see Jerry Seinfeld on a Friday, Brian Regan on a Saturday, and catch a late set at the Comedy Cellar on Sunday, all without getting in a car. That is not a joke. That is the calendar.
