About the Performer

is an Emmy and SAG-nominated actor and comedian best known for his nine-year run as a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (1986–1995). His dry wit, likable demeanor, and unique comedic sensibility have made him one of the most enduring figures in American comedy.

On SNL, Nealon created iconic recurring characters including “The Subliminal Man” and “Hans and Franz,” and anchored the beloved “Weekend Update” segment. He earned an Emmy nomination in 1988 as part of the SNL writing team.

Beyond SNL, Nealon starred in the hit Showtime series Weeds for eight seasons, earning Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations.
