About The Louisville Palace
The Louisville Palace is one of the most breathtaking historic theaters in the United States. Opened in 1928 and designed in a stunning Spanish Baroque style, this architectural masterpiece seats approximately 2,800 guests and has been lovingly restored to its original splendor. The ornate interior — featuring hand-painted ceilings, gilded plasterwork, and a warm amber glow — creates an atmosphere unlike any other venue in the region.
Located at 625 S. 4th Street in the heart of downtown Louisville, the Palace is easily accessible from I-64 and I-65. Parking is available at The Brown Hotel garage, the Fifth Street garage, and via ParkWhiz for pre-booked spots. Street parking is also available after hours. The venue is fully ADA accessible — call (502) 583-4555 ext. 3 for accessible seating assistance.
The box office is open Mondays and Tuesdays from 12PM–5PM and Fridays from 12PM–5:30PM, as well as two hours before each show. No cameras, flash photography, or audio/video recording are permitted. There is no re-entry and no smoking inside the venue.
