Rene Vaca is one of stand-up comedy’s fastest-rising stars. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California, Vaca’s journey to the stage is as compelling as his comedy. After his father was incarcerated, he launched his own landscaping business at just 15 years old before earning acceptance to the University of California, Merced.
Vaca made national headlines when he won the prestigious 16th Annual StandUp NBC competition — one of the most coveted prizes in the comedy industry.
