About the Performer
Pete Lee is a beloved stand-up comedian best known for being the first comedian to receive a standing ovation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — a milestone that happened after Jimmy personally attended one of Pete’s live shows in NYC and immediately invited him on the show.
Raised in Janesville, WI, Pete’s joyful, Midwestern humor has earned him a devoted following across the country. He has performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and shot his own Comedy Central Half Hour Special.
Pete has also been a cast member on VH1’s Best Week Ever, TruTV’s Greatest Ever, and is a regular on TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle. He has performed at over 500 colleges across the country.
