Nurse Blake: But Did You Die? Comedy Tour LIVE at Attucks Theatre

About Nurse Blake
Nurse Blake — real name Blake Lynch — is a comedian, author, and former surgical ICU nurse who turned his healthcare experiences into a wildly popular stand-up career. Known for his sharp wit, relatable storytelling, and unapologetic humor about the medical world, Nurse Blake has built a massive following among nurses, healthcare workers, and comedy fans alike.
His comedy blends personal anecdotes from the hospital floor with broader observations about life, identity, and the absurdity of modern healthcare. He’s the creator of the viral “Nurse Blake” social media brand and has performed to sold-out crowds across the country. His shows are known for being high-energy, laugh-out-loud funny, and deeply personal.
The But Did You Die? Comedy Tour is his most ambitious live tour yet — featuring brand-new material, expanded storytelling, and the signature Nurse Blake energy that fans have come to love.

About Attucks Theatre
The Attucks Theatre is one of Norfolk’s most beloved and historic performance venues, located at 1010 Church Street in the heart of downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Originally opened in 1919, it holds the distinction of being one of the first theaters in the United States built by and for African Americans, and it has been beautifully restored to its original grandeur.
The venue seats approximately 600 guests and features a classic proscenium stage, ornate interior details, and excellent sightlines from every seat in the house. The intimate atmosphere makes it a perfect setting for stand-up comedy — close enough to feel the energy of the performer, yet grand enough to feel like a true night out.
Parking is available in nearby downtown Norfolk garages and street parking. The venue is managed by SevenVenues and is easily accessible from I-264. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the historic lobby and find their seats before showtime.
What to Expect
Nurse Blake’s But Did You Die? show is a full-length stand-up comedy performance featuring new material from his 2026 tour. Expect a high-energy evening filled with hilarious stories from the hospital, personal life observations, and the kind of comedy that makes you laugh until it hurts.
This is a solo stand-up show — no opening act has been announced — so the full evening is dedicated to Nurse Blake’s signature storytelling. The show runs approximately 90 minutes. Given the 16+ age restriction, the content is intended for mature audiences and includes adult humor and language.
Fans of healthcare comedy, personal storytelling, and high-energy live performance will feel right at home. Whether you’re a nurse, a patient, or just someone who loves great comedy, this show delivers.
