About the Performer
Michelle Buteau is one of the most exciting voices in comedy today. The Brooklyn-based comedian, actress, and author has built a devoted following through her sharp wit, candid storytelling, and unapologetically honest perspective on life, love, and motherhood. She is best known as the host of Netflix’s hit reality competition The Circle and Survival of the Thickest, the critically acclaimed Netflix series she created and stars in, based on her own bestselling book of essays.
Buteau’s stand-up style is warm, relatable, and laugh-out-loud funny. She draws from her own experiences as a Haitian-Dutch woman navigating marriage, IVF, raising twins, and the absurdities of modern life. Her comedy is both deeply personal and universally resonant, making audiences feel like they’re catching up with a hilarious best friend.
The Surviving And Thriving Tour is inspired by her book and Netflix series of the same name, and promises an evening of candid, heartfelt, and side-splitting comedy. This show is 18+ only.
