Best known for his iconic role as Ashy Larry on Chappelle’s Show and his critically acclaimed role as Damien “Day-Day” Price on HBO’s The Wire, Donnell has built a career that spans stand-up, television, and film.

In 2026, Donnell debuted his first Netflix stand-up special, produced by his long-time friend Dave Chappelle.
