About Ali Wong
Ali Wong is one of the most celebrated stand-up comedians of her generation, known for her fearless, unfiltered, and brilliantly funny takes on marriage, motherhood, sex, and ambition. Born and raised in San Francisco, Ali broke through to mainstream fame with her Netflix specials Baby Cobra (2016) and Hard Knock Wife (2018), both of which she filmed while visibly pregnant — a bold choice that became iconic.
Her comedy is raw, honest, and deeply personal. Ali doesn’t shy away from taboo topics — she charges straight at them with wit, precision, and a delivery that leaves audiences gasping and laughing in equal measure. Her third Netflix special, Don Wong (2022), further cemented her status as one of the sharpest voices in comedy today.
Beyond stand-up, Ali is also known for her acting work in Always Be My Maybe, Beef, and American Housewife. But it’s on stage where she truly shines — and her live shows are not to be missed.

With a seating capacity of approximately 3,200, Stifel Theatre offers an intimate yet grand atmosphere that’s ideal for major comedy headliners. The venue features excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, and multiple bars and concession areas throughout. Parking is available in the attached Kiel Garage, accessible from Clark Avenue or 16th Street.
The box office opens on event days at noon. The venue is cashless — all purchases require a credit or debit card. Doors typically open one hour before showtime.

This is a solo headline performance — Ali takes the stage and commands the room for a full set that typically runs 75–90 minutes. Her shows are known for being both hilarious and surprisingly moving, with moments of genuine vulnerability woven throughout the laughs.
